A Little Bit on our past
A shift to interior furnishings in 2008 and a brief hiatus broadened my expertise where I began to single-handedly manage production for Daniel Design Studio - a local interior designer with a focus on products for the bed.
Since the pandemic rocked our world, I reconnected with fashion through M Shiv Productions as I ventured back out into the world of fashion through a partnership with Peach Berserk to manufacture COVID-19 masks and debuted a bag line for Victory Girl Vintage - a local Kensington Market Boutique.
Since then, I’ve decided to branch out and come together with a couple trusted and talented sewers in my network to offer our services to interested Toronto designers. Hopefully we can work with you soon!
M Shiv Productions was born from a passion for craftsmanship and a dedication to Toronto’s vibrant design community.
Over the past 30 years, I started humbly sewing apparel in old Toronto factories for old names like Uniform Register and MacMor in the Fashion District until I ventured out with Savitas Fashions - M Shiv Productions’ precursor.
Similar to M Shiv Productions, I operated a workshop that created apparel for past and present Toronto designers like Franco Mirabelli, Flying Down to Rio, Brenda Bedome, Peach Berserk, Preloved, Annie Thomson and Joeffer Caoc.
